BRC Learning Center
The BRLC program offers classes to over 180 students, from ages of two and up, organized into age groups and skill levels based upon the Cambridge University English test. In the past year, the BRLC has been reorganized by age groups and levels to provide a better education to all students. As of July 2007, math classes were added to the curriculum. Additionally, computer classes began in December 2007.
In the future, the BRC hopes to offer more advanced classes to accommodate people with degrees and higher levels of education. Another goal is to have classes available on the internet to reach refugees who cannot commute to the BRC or who live outside the Bangkok area.
Educational Services includes:
- Formal education to children
- English and Thai language at the BRLC
- Computer, math, and art at the BRLC
- Vocational Skills Training
- Education for children with special needs and disabilities
- Pre-literacy classes
- Preschool classes
